Life But Circulation

As the years pass by
The days do shrink,
Your body bends, bows,
Skin wrinkles, beauty fades.

As trees grew older
Rings count the years,
Ravaged by the weather
Cuts short their life span.

Flowers are like families
They grow and die,
Beautiful in the flower of youth,
Fades, becomes brittle, then dust.

Earth is ravaged by wind, and rain,
Sun boils the water to mud,
Dust scatters far and wide,
Trees die of thirst, crumbles, rots.

Life is a merry-go-round
With its ups and downs,
Lives for but a short while,
Fades away, to be born another day.
